Megasquirt -DIY EFI

OK so having gone for motorcycle carbs and Megajolt and done a fair few trouble free miles seemingly with more power than when I first got the car,
the dyno shootout day has convinced me it was my time to go EFI.SweetPea 2 managed a measly 101 HP at the flywheel due to poor fuelling.
Placeholder for the dyno plot...
Out of all the cars there the ones with EFI had very nice smooth fuel patterns
- whereas all us running carbs all had some issue within the rev range where the fuelling would be a compromise
- either too rich or too lean I had a good old chat to the rolling road operators and they itterarted what I already knew,
armed with a laptop and a clue as to what the engine likes everything is tweakable -
no need to compromise

Megasquirt....What do I need?

Megasquirt brain- managed to get myself a 2nd hand v2.2 board

Throttle bodies
I have also procured a set of R1 motorcycle throttle bodies , with injectors

Fuel Pump, filters and plumbing

I have chosen megasquirt to do sparks as well,
and as I already have Megajolt running I am going to stick with the same EDIS and coilpack
which megasquirt will handle very nicely using MS&S extra firmware

So far I have tested the Megasquirt on the car and got it doing sparks (trivial)
Though is ony in 2d for now as am awaiting the manifold for the newly respaced throttle bodies to arrive from
KNN Manifolds, along with a shiney new manifold!
I will need to plump in a new feed from the tank to a pre pump filter (low pressure) to a high pressure inline pump (2nd hand from Car Components) to a high pressure filter (generic Halfords jobbie) to a new copper line to the fuel rail
I will also need to plumb in a return fuel line from the fuel regulator on the fuel rail back to the tank
Chippy has made me a beutifull return tank doohickey as a thank you for having a go at mapping his V6 with Megasquirt
